Encourage, Equip, Inspire

Whether is be empty nets, past failures, or false comparisons, we all have things that keep us from following God.  Jesus shows us, however, by restoring and commissioning Peter that we can know God's love, embracing the pain and joy of following Him.

Everyone calls him Doubting Thomas, but listen and learn how Thomas uses his doubts and skepticism to bold claim his own encounter with the risen Christ.

In this sermon we will look at Jesus' appearance to the gathered disciples after his resurrection.  He took great pains to prove that he was real and not a ghost.  They were filled with joy and fear, but the great message of the resurrection is that with Jesus Christ alive and well, we have no reason to fear!

Be encouraged that Jesus is revealed to us through Scripture and the breaking of bread.  My prayer is that you will learn to recognize His presence more and more

Happy Easter!  He is Risen!  The empty tomb demands a decision, what will yours be?

In this final installment of our values series we will look at Jesus cursing a fig tree and cleansing the temple.  Strange, wild stories that show the authority of Jesus and how he uses his power and authority to welcome all!

This second message in our series on Values of HCC is focused on our commitment to Serve All.  I use the narrative of John chapter 13 to reflect on how similar Peter and Judas are, yet how different the outcome of their lives!  Both were loved by Jesus, both had their feet washed by him.  What are the implications for you?  Listen and find out.
